Finding the Cottage
Millfield Cottage can be found just south of Omakau township and 23 km from Alexandra towards Ranfurly. We are opposite the turn off to Ophir just before the Thomsons Creek Bridge.
If you are riding the Railtrail, Omakau is a good days bike ride from Clyde or a fine place to stay before the last day if you begin at Middlemarch. There are a wide range of facilities and activities available in the Omakau-Ophir-Poolburn area for visitors to enjoy.
